Describe the most difficult things about being your age. Give reasons.

Honestly the hardest thing about my age would be the amount of homework we get. Why? because every week we have to do basic facts and a blog, and honestly I think it is a waste of time because I could be doing home work challenges during that time, even though I probably wouldn't do it during that time, but I could be doing better things. I think if we did have homework, instead of doing basic facts, we should have maths that we are actually learning about in class, and to not have to do blogs, because they are boring to type up and hardly anyone reads them. Another hard thing is having to make friends, because the easiest way to make friends is to give someone some gum, but gum is like illegal at our school, so it is a lot more harder to make friends. Another hard thing is keeping your room tidy and time management, because at my house we have to share rooms and I have to share with my sister Maia, and she always makes the room look messy and my side is always clean. Time management is also hard because I have road patrol,mediator, dance splash and plenty of other things, and sometimes it feels like when I have finished something, like say dance splash, after that something else will pop up and I will have to start doing that, so it feels like its never ending sometimes.

If I was a superhero what would my powers be and Why?

If I was a superhero what would my powers be and Why?
If I was a superhero my powers would be the same as Superman.Why?-I would want to have Superman’s powers because superman has the power to fly, he has strength, and great hearing skills except I wouldn't be allergic to Kryptonite, I would be allergic to fire.

I would also like the power to be like B.O.B of the Monster vs Aliens movie.

Why?-B.O.B is indestructible which means that nothing can kill him.

It would be cool to have laser eyes as well.

Why?-cause I like laser eyes.

I also would have the power to breath under water

Why?-Because then I can save ships that are about to sink

I also want the same power as spider man.

Why?-because it would be cool to be able to swing from building to building with webs.

I would also want the same power as Matilda.

Why?-because I could control the bad people with my eyes, and I can also bring things to me.

I would LOVE to have the power of transfiguration

Why?-Because it would be cool to be able to change into someone else or some kind of fierce animal

Personally I think we shouldn't have to do the reflection about our week, because nearly every week we do the same things, and I always end up writing about the same things. Reflections become very boring sometimes and I think that is because I hardly ever have something new to write about, because usually I write about what I learn and every time it is usually about the same topics. I don’t really enjoy reflections because every time I am always in a rush to finish, and sometimes I have to finish it on the weekend, which for me is very frustrating because I could be doing something more important with my time like the homework challenge, and when I have to do work on the computer at home it’s hard to do it because other people are on the computer or we are using up all the WIFI so I’m not allowed on it. It is also very annoying because I am not that fast at typing, so it is a lot more harder for me to finish on time. I was thinking instead of doing the reflection we could maybe do some free writing, and the people who don’t want to do that, they could read their book. It would only be for a short time though because after lunch we have assembly or whanau.

Reflection

Maths: This week we have been learning how to do times tables, such as this: 39x4=, This has been a great topic for me, because I have always wanted to learn how to do this. It is still a little complicated to do it in my head, but It’s just practice.

Reading: I have been really enjoying my book. I am reading the Mortal Engines book. At first when I saw the book and how small the writing was I instantly wanted to just throw the book on the ground and scream. But I decided that would be embarrassing, so I didn't. It wasn't until the second chapter that the book actually began to become interesting. The first chapter was extremely confusing, I read it three times. It wasn't until I kept on reading the book and soon it became clear. I am glad I started this book and that I didn't scream when I got it.

Health: Health is a little annoying sometimes, because someone is always talking and it is annoying because not only are they distracting the health class but they are slowing down our class as well and we are always getting out of class late, and it is frustrating for my brother as well because he has to wait for me and he is getting very annoyed.
